Ryan Fitzgerald, a sophomore at Lasell, originally from the Cape, Brewster to be exact. Fitzgerald is a communication major, with the goal to become a sports writer. He comes from a small, close-knit family. His sister recently got married and is currently expecting, and Fitzgerald is excited to become an uncle to a beautiful baby boy.
Fitzgerald has a huge love for sports. He played basketball in high school, but sticks to pickup games of basketball and football these days. His favorite professional teams are the Jets and the Celtics. His skills translate over to video games too, claiming to be really good at NBA2K. He is hoping to intern this summer for the Cape Cod Baseball League.
Sports isn’t Fitzgerald’s only passion, so is travelling. Next year he plans to study abroad in Switzerland, at Franklin University. He said, “I’m planning on going to Nepal next year with my mom, she’s really into that stuff and I’m pretty excited.” Traveling is on the top of Ryan’s bucket list, followed by skydiving, tornado chasing, and swimming with sharks. Another item on his bucket list is to attend a concert for all of his favorite artists, which include Childish Gambino, Isaiah Rashad, and J. Cole.
This eligible bachelor isn’t too specific when it comes to the ladies, Fitzgerald wants someone with a similar sense of humor that is easy to get along with. His ideal date would be going to the beach for a bonfire and a picnic, then skinny dipping. His outfit of choice would be a collard shirt, khakis, and his favorite pair of Timberlands. But be warned girls, Fitzgerald is still very close with his high school friends, who enjoy spending their days going to the beach and partying. Some fun facts about Ryan is that he lived in Chicago for a year when he was little, his celebrity crush is Brooklyn Decker, and his favorite food is spaghetti and meatballs. If any ladies are looking for Ryan, he can be found with his friends around campus or in the city on Newbury Street.
