When did you come to America? In 2000, I moved from India, where I was born, to Chicago.

When did you become an American citizen officially? In 2005 through my parents.  My parents were naturalized.

Favorite food? Honestly I love Persian food, so basically a bunch of rice and meat.

If you had to listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be? Probably “Chandelier” by Sia.

What are you involved in at KU? I am involved in KU Young Democrats, I’m a marketing assistant for the KU Theatre Department, and an intermural soccer team called Unreal Madrid.

What is your vision of the perfect date? The woman should have an interest in her education and be willing to have serious conversations when it’s necessary, but I am the goofiest person ever so I am just joking and laughing 95 percent of the time. In terms of the perfect date to go on, I like really cheesy romantic things, like if I could go to a Broadway musical and then go to dinner at a fancy restaurant.

What do you do in your free time? You can find me listening to lots of High School Musical and Cheetah Girls.

Which of the Cheetah Girls do you find the most attractive? Dorinda. I’m basically Corbin Bleu in real life.

Blue Valley West graduate of 2014. I am an avid golf player. I also enjoy playing the cello and singing in my spare time. I am hoping to major in social work and work with foster kids
