As a senior at KU what was your experience like? My experience at KU was very hard because I was the only one of my friends from freshman year still left in school, but I got involved with my Her Campus friends and those friendships are the ones I am going to miss the most when I leave. I’m beyond thankful for Her Campus KU. I don’t know what I would have done without them.
What will you miss the most about being at KU? As said before, I’m going to miss the Her Campus friends the most and the channel, but I know I’m leaving it in good hands.
How did you get involved with Her Campus and vlogging? i had always been super into YouTube, so when i saw Her Campus KU was offering a vlogging position, I immediatley signed up. I ended up taking over the blog pretty quickly. It was so much fun for me to see it grow and work with new vloggers to see what they brought to the table. I do still have my own YouTube channel, so I am going to still create content as long as people watch.
What are you going to miss about HerCampus? I’m going to miss the support of Her Campus. I’ve never met a more supporting group, and it was so refreshing to be around people who are smart and kind and want to make the world a better place.
What is your dream job? My dream job would be being a makeup artist for celebrities, on movie sets or just for award shows. I’d have all these celebrity friends and good life, but wouldn’t have that crazy amount of fame for myself, so I could still go to Chipotle without getting mobbed. Plus if I happened to be friends with J Biebs, I know a few Her Campus girls who would love an introduction.
What is your dream vacation? My dream vacation would be a warm place with my family and friends. Give me a good book, a drink in my hand and the sun and I’m happy.
