According to the Washington Post, Donald Trump will be making an appearance at JMU this weekend.
On Friday, April 29th Trump will stop by the Hyatt Regency hotel near the San Francisco International Airport for the opening day of the California GOP’s state convention. On Saturday, April 30th he will leave for Harrisonburg, Virginia for the Republican Party of Virginia’s convention.
Word has gone around that the Virginia GOP convention will be held right here at James Madison University at convocation center.
JMU was quick to take to Twitter and address that the rumors are just rumors and that the Virginia Republican Party has only rented out the space on campus. “There’s no contract between JMU & Trump campaign. The event referenced not a JMU-sponsored event.” JMU itself will not be hosting Trump.
