10 Reasons Every Girl is Ready For Fall

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at JMU chapter.

1. Fashion

While we all enjoy the sun dresses, high wasted shorts, and crop tops we can all also agree that nothing beats wearing the coziest sweater and leggings around. Fall is the perfect time to bring out and layer items as much as you want.

2. Bonfires

S’mores. Enough said.

3.  Pumpkin Spiced Lattes

Yes, it’s back ladies and better than ever! Enjoy it while it lasts!

4. Pumpkin picking

What girl says no to Pinterest for a DIY pumpkin decorations and carvings? Decorate with your pumpkin patch pumpkins around the dorm or apartment for that warm fall feeling.

5. DIY Costumes

I hope I am speaking for every girl out there when I say I would much rather spend money on supplies to make my own, one of a kind costume than spending it all on one costume that girl down the hall might have. Who wants to run into an identical Elsa at that long awaited costume party?

6. Burning candles

Your obsession with candles just goes to a whole new level once you notice that every isle you pass has warm scented candles that can make you room about just the coziest place to be in. Ahhh can you smell that pumpkin pie?

7. Fall breeze

It’s no secret that we are just all completely over this heat, I mean who enjoys being drenched in sweat by the time we reach class? No thank you!

8. Changing leaves

While green grasses and blooming flowers are beautiful, so are the warm colors of the changing leaves during fall. And to add to your insta profile, upload photos of you and your besties jumping onto a pile of leaves.

9. Scary movie nights

BOO! Scary movies seem to be even scarier when Halloween is near and why not throw it back to Halloween Town and Hocus Pocus, total classics that put you in the spirit of fall.

10. Sweet tooth

Fall is the perfect time to just forget about all the horrible things that sweets can do to you and just indulge in some sweet caramel apples and a few pounds of chocolate. You know? Just for the spirit of things.
