Times”>One thing that all of us here at HC JHU definitely have in common is the way that we enjoy writing. We love to write about health, fitness, fashion, movies, and everything in between, but maybe you’d like to read some poetry or even short stories. I’d like to tell you about an interesting site that I love to visit (almost as much as much as Her Campus!) that “is a place for relevant and relatable non-fiction thought.” The Thought Catalog has the most interesting, and creative stories that I’ve ever read. Some are funny, some emotional, some sad, and others just odd (in a good way of course!). Thought Catalog is a different type of online magazine – it’s a collective of personal stories and poems shared by so many different types of people. My favorite story is titled, “You Are A Short Story, He Was A Novel,” and was written by Gaby Dunn. It’s a very beautiful, but very different type of short love story that I definitely recommend reading! Another good one is, “When It’s Time To Leave,” by Cody Gohl. One thing I really enjoy about Thought Catalog is that I’ve yet to come across a boring title – right now on the homepage there is, “What Survives a Flood? and “We Need Every Little Catastrophe.” The people who write for Thought Catalog are truly creative individuals that love to write.
