Meet Destiny Collins!

Why did you choose Georgia State?

At first, I didn’t want to go here but I visited the campus and after the tour I realized that this was the campus for me based off the experience and opportunity that I could get from being down town.

Advice you could give to incoming freshman?

Enjoy yourself. Don’t be afraid to put yourself in an uncomfortable situations because you can grow from them. Don’t get into the habit of skipping class and find a good group of friends stick with them and help one another grow.

What ways are you involved on campus?

I am apart of NRHH, Volunteer for the Panther Pantry, Event Planner for the Intersexuality Club and New Member of The National Society of Leadership and Success.

Where do you see yourself after graduating college?

Either going to business school in NY or living in Toronto, utilizing my degree to its fullest potential and working with Star Woods Mag as a hotel auditor visiting predominantly French-speaking countries to better develop the hotels and mold the hotel for the betterment of guest experience.  

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy traveling.

Favorite Food? – I do not have a favorite food. I just like eating all types of food from different cultures.

Favorite Movie? – Mulan and The Bodyguard

Favorite Artist? – NAO, Drake, Childish Gambino and The Weeknd

Favorite Song? – “Bad Blood” by NAO and “Pop Thieves” by Childish Gambino
