I feel like on campus people just walk around passing strangers by every day. I mean honestly…who actually sparks up random convos with anyone now-a-days?
I’m not pointing fingers because I do the same thing. I don’t reach out of my comfort zone and talk to strangers. Between classes I call people I already know. My friends, family, associates. I’ll do all the that before I talk to a stranger.
With that being said it’s time to introduce you to a new person. You may have seen her around campus sporting her colorful hair, or maybe at Gus Mart checking people out. Regardless if you have or not I want to introduce you to Aungelique Hanna (pronounced “on-ja-leek)
Aungelique is a junior, multi-communications major from College Park, Ga. She is a family girl with one older sister of whom she’s really close too.
Around campus you can find Aungelique working at Gus-Mart or giving tours to people around campus. Aungelique is involved in several different organizations including Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity, Southern Ambassadors, and first year Phi Eta Sigma National Honors Society. As you can tell Aungelique takes her grades extremely seriously.
She isn’t all books though, Aungelique likes to volunteer on the weekly trips through the school and watch Grey’s Anatomy in her free time. Aungelique also likes to watch weekly shows with her close friends and grab Parker’s slushies on nights they stay in. But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t go out. Aungelique likes to go out with friends to smaller events where she can mingle with everyone.
Aungelique says she is super chill and laid back. So next time you see her don’t be afraid to speak!
