So we all know that there is a ton of stuff going on at Georgetown. But what about events outside of the bubble? Read this column every week to get the scoop on the five things going on that we think is worth getting off campus for.
1. Taste of DC
One of the biggest food events coming soon, Taste of DC brings food from Ben’s Chili Bowl, District Doughnuts, and Sprinkles Cupcakes. There will also be over 15 food trucks, such as Carmen’s Italian Ice and Captain Cookie. Best of all, it is happening over two days, so you will have time to eat all of the food.
2. Across the Universe Sing Along
On October 8th the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library is hosting their monthly sing along.. So join others, while eating free snacks, and sing along to the Beatles.

3. DC Dead
Halloween is at the end of the month, which means there is a plethora of scare-inducing activities occurring. DC Dead, a haunted house and interactive theater production allows you to explore Fort Fringe while fending off zombies. It starts on October 9 and runs through November 1.
4. Allen Stone
Allen Stone is headlining at 9:30 on Tuesday, bringing Bad Rabbits and Roméo Testa with him. So if you enjoy soul music, you should definitely check him out.

5. Bastille
British rockers Bastille are coming to the Patriot Center on Saturday.
