So we all know that there is a ton of stuff going on at Georgetown. But what about events outside of the Bubble? Read this column every week to get the scoop on the five things going on that we think is worth getting off campus for.
1. Bentzen Ball
Bentzen Ball, a comedy showcase, starts on October 1st and it is going to be amazing. Curated by Tig Notaro, there are some big names coming this year that you may recognize. Those people are Jeff Garlin, John Hodgman, Rob Corddry, Rhetta, Wyatt Cynec, and Rosie O’Donnell. There are shows from October 1st through the 5th so make sure you at least check one out.
Can’t wait to laugh? Go see Obvious Child at West End Cinema on Tuesday. This movie, starring the hilarious Jenny Slate, is funny, heartbreaking, and moving.

4. DC Meet Market Fall Festival
Celebrate fall with pumpkin painting, cornhole, and cupcakes from Baked and Wired this Saturday at DC Meet Market. There will also be live music.
(e)merge Art Fair is a three day even taking place this weekend at the Capital Skyline Hotel. There will be performances, panel discussions, and of course, art.
