You may have seen this stylish chick around campus. She’s the historian of ALD (Alpha Lambda Delta-an honor society), employed with Academic Outreach, an avid attendee of both Campus Outreach and Wesley, and she happens to be a dear friend.
All biases aside, anyone that comes into contact with Marci is sure to remember her. I’ve never seen anyone not think she is coolest chick around. She’s down to watch the Georgia game with her group of friends, but she’s also interested in going to see the theater department’s latest production.
What really sets Marci apart is how humble and down to earth she is. No matter how involved she stays in the goings on around campus or how busy she is with schoolwork, she’s always level and willing to let you vent about your day or just take a moment to relax.
She is a sophomore, and a mass communications major. She’s very interested in making radio commercials. She is also VERY entertained by Disney movies, a necessity for any friendship. Recently, Marci watched Anastasia and not once did she complain about me freaking out every thirty seconds because the puppy was adorable or because Anastasia wasn’t kissing that really cute ex-palace boy. That’s true friendship, ladies.
The thing I, and many others benefit from most by being exposed to Marci’s wonderful life force, is the light she shines for God. No matter what struggles she’s going through, and between the two of us there have been plenty, she always just points other back to God. She’s a daughter of the King, a princess in her own right, and one of the greatest smiles you’ll ever pass on your way to class. You may have seen this stylish chick around campus.
