Why did you decide to go to Framingham State?
“I came to Framingham as an education major, because I knew about the great education program. Then, I met a girl who told me fashion was a major and I switched it the day before classes started. Happened to be lucky that FSU had fashion as a major, I think.”
What are you involved in on campus?
“I’m an RA, t’s my second year. One part of being an RA that I really enjoy, is being able to make a difference for my residents without them necessarily telling me that I am making a difference. So, I’m a member of fashion club and am involved with the fashion shows here at FSU. I applied to be a campus crew President/leader of love your melon at FSU, so I brought that to Framingham!”
What do you like to do in your free time?
“I like to go shopping and nap. I like to hang out with my mom in my free time, she’ll visit or we’ll go shopping together. Having photo shoots! I love photo-ops and hanging out with friends obviously.”
What has been your favorite part of college so far?
“My favorite part of college so far has been figuring out what I’m capable of. So, coming into college I had no idea what I wanted to do with my future, but college has shown me that I know what I want to do and I know who I want to be and it’s given me that opportunity.”
What do you look forward to in 2017?
“I look forward to new opportunities, so getting more experience in the fashion world and working more towards what I want to do as a career. I also look forward to helping the Framingham community as that is still a huge part of who I am.”
Who is your role model and why?
“My mom is my role model because she has shown me what hard work looks like and she’s always told me to do whatever I want to do no matter what anyone else is saying about it. And she tells me how it is!”
If you could be any character who would you want to be?
“Atticus Finch from To Kill a Mockingbird because he stands up for what’s right and he’s always present in the moment.”

If you could travel anywhere in the world, what’s the first place you would go?
“I think I would want to go to Ireland because I would want to discover my roots more and learn about my own family history.”
What’s one thing you hope to accomplish in the next 5 years?
“One thing I hope to accomplish in the next five years would be making a positive difference for people who wouldn’t necessarily be able to offer anything back. Just make an obvious difference in a mostly negative world.”
