Last Saturday night, F&M celebrated Spring Arts weekend with an awesome concert by Karmin! The opening acts were Flamingosis and Maxx Flair. Maxx Flair really revved up the crowd by having the audience join in during many of the songs. Both of these opening acts were done by current and former F&M students, so it was really a nice opportunity to show off some F&M talent!
Her Campus F&M got to meet Karmin, which was totally awesome. Karmin was super nice and told us (Kuhoo and I) that we had very pretty names, which led us to have some major fangirling moments. We got to take some photos with the duo and later got a signed poster from Karmin.
The concert, in the ASFC, was packed with students, alumni, and staff. Karmin really got the crowd excited and ready to have fun with all of their songs. My personal favorite (and the song I’m now addicted to/can’t stop listening to) is I Want It All. However, when Karmin sang Acappella, EVERYONE in the audience decided to join in and sing (or scream) along. F&M was technically the first stop on Karmin’s Pulses tour, so we got to hear some really cool songs from the album.
