CJ (C): After declining to do it before, I feel like now is my chance to shine…
HCE: What is your biggest pet peeve?
C: People that see the world in black-and-white and are too literal for me to handle.
HCE: Name yourfavorite television show
C: It’s more of a series, but I would have to say Planet Earth. It just blows me away, no matter what state I’m in.
HCE: What would you say is the most unexpected thing about you?
C: Well, despite popular belief, CJ does not stand for Carmichael Jamal. But for real, I play a mean Smash, used to love Halo, and am pretty good at Call of Duty.
HCE: Describe your perfect date
C: Something outdoorsy and physically challenging, like hiking, or horseback riding with the intent of finding some secluded and beautiful place to “enjoy” together.
HCE: What is your weirdest quality?
C: I don’t think I could possibly nail one thing down in particular, but I do tend to break out into song spontaneously and loudly in many different types of public places. This has gotten me more head turns than any other weird thing about me.
HCE: If you were on a desert island and could only bring 3 things, what would they be and why?
C: My best friend Madeline, a piano, and some wine.
