As a senior graduating in May, I cannot help but feel a little saddened as my last Greek Week Dance Competition came to a close last week. For those who do not know, Greek Week Dance takes place in Alumni gym and is a competition between Greek organizations. The competition consists of Fraternities and Sororities performing completely original dances in front of students, faculty and community members.
The dance is judged by varying faculty members on a number of criteria including costumes, themes and choreography.
Looking back on my four years of school, I can confidently say that Greek Week Dance is one of my most fond memories of Elon, and it has allowed me to not only become closer with many girls in my sorority, but also to partake in something far bigger than myself. Thus, I have decided to take a little trip down memory lane and walk you readers through some amazing dances that have taken place in Alumni Gym.
