Spring Break Survival Kit
Thank you again from the lovely Her Campus Community for the wonderful Spring Break Survival Kits yet again. We got such an array of things to benefit all of our needs. There is so much great support from the team and all our sponsors that it is a great feeling knowing how they appreciate our hard work. Today I’ll just give you a taste of the wonderful products given to us as a gift for all our hard work.
· Well of course if your spending your spring break week in the sun you need to have a pair of sunglasses. So they sent us super cute pink and black sunglasses with the Her Campus logo on them. Perfect for those sunny days down on St. Pete Beach if you’re staying local.
· If lounging around is your plan whether it be on the beach or in your dorm room or on flights to your perfect break destinations you could always use a good book. Thankfully we got two great reads for you book nerds. First, there’s The Intern’s Handbook which is about an intern at the biggest law firm in Manhattan who’s an elite assassin hired to kill one of the lawyers, but comes across a snag when a federal agent comes into play looking into the same man. If your not into a more action packed book but more of a girly book I got the next best thing. Dirty Rush by Taylor Bell, is about a girl who comes from a long line of Beta Zetas who has no interest at all in pledging until they pull her into the fun of it all. Unfortunately she gets pulled into the mess of an accused sex tape. Wonder what will happen? Read to find out.
· Feeling like bringing a cold drink to the beach? We got these cute cozies with a bow to take care of those ice cold drinks on that warm sunny day of tanning.
· After the beach or the day at the pool you need to shower, why not use something environmentally friendly? We are an environmental school so why not be more involved in the cause? Thanks to Clean Freak we got samples of their purifying shampoo and conditioner to wash that chlorine from our hair so it doesn’t turn green. The formula is biodegradable, no harsh chemicals, and revitalizes your hair. What’s not to like?
· Always have that craving for a snack but wanting to keep your bikini ready body you worked so hard on? Luna bars are great for that. Low calorie intake, gluten free and 70% organic. So it’s healthy and won’t add that bloat if you’re craving chips.
· But if you are hungry and wanting to stay healthy? Chipotle is definitely the answer. Thanks to them and Her Campus we got a BOGO for a burrito, burrito bowl, salad, or order of tacos. Healthy and delicious during or after those crazy adventurous days of spring.
· Last but not least we got a great pen for homework or notes if you’re feeling like it. Stickers to decorate with the Her Campus logo. Finally pepper spray to fend off the evil people who could come after you in the dark or when you’re by yourself. Either way a great asset to have in areas you don’t know for better protection even if you are with a group of people.
Thanks to the amazing team at Her Campus we got an amazing array of items to help make our spring break that much better. A nice book, sunglasses, snacks and accessories, couldn’t get much better.
