But at the same time, there are definitely pieces that you see over and over again. While these articles of clothing are not necessarily pieces that you would see on the runway, they certainly have become staples on the Duke campus. You’d be hard-pressed to find a girl at Duke who does not own at least one pair of black leggings. Like Uggs, the popularity of leggings is likely due to the comfort factor. Similarly, they are easy to throw on when you are hard-pressed for time in the morning, since they go with almost anything.
