It’s the second most wonderful time of the year; it’s Girl Scout Cookie season again! Everyone’s obsession with the delicious cookies means the organization sells thousands each year, but did you know the flavors are available in more than just cookie form? Below are a few products featuring the classic cookies in new ways.
1. Flavored Coffee Mate Creamer
Now you can add thin mints to your coffee! This is great for any coffee drinker who wants a sweeter taste to their morning cup of coffee. While these are not available for purchase online, they can be found in Walmart and Target during the Girl Scout Cookie season.
2. Yankee Candles
This one can give your house the smell of freshly baked cookies, all without the work of actual baking. They’re available on Amazon. The candles are available in three scents, thin mint, chocolate peanut butter, and coconut chocolate strips.
3. Quaker Chewy Bars
Your granola bars just got better. If you’re looking for great flavor combinations in a few bites, the Quaker Chewy bars inspired by thin mints and coconut chocolate stripes are here for you. These high rated bars are great for running to class. Also, you’ll feel a little less guilty eating Girl Scout Cookie flavored granola bars instead of the box of cookies itself.
4. Ice Cream
Breyers Ice Cream came out with a lone of ice cream flavors featuring our favorite cookies. There are only two flavors available: Thin Mint and Samoas. You will definitely see me buying these in bulk before the season is over.
5. Pastry Mix
For those who prefer brownies and cupcakes over cookies, these are for you. Pillsbury teamed up with Girl Scout Cookies to create baking mixes. There’s a wide variety of pastries that are available at most grocery stores. Some of my favorite flavors include, Thin Mint brownies and Caramel and Coconut Blondies.
6. Lip Smackers
I’m not sure how popular these actually are, but how cool is it that these exist? I haven’t used Lip Smackers since I was in elementary school so these are definitely a good throwback. Two flavors are available on Amazon, Chocolate, peanut butter and shortbread. Both have two lip glosses included, one regular and one liquid.
For those who want even more of the classic cookies after they’ve devoured the entire box, why not try one of the above products? You may just find a new yearly purchase!
