Live with the Hive

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at DESU chapter.

Did you hear it, did you?  The nest was popping with the hornets not stopping.  Last night, Live with the Hive was as the millennials call it “LIT!”  As they partnered up with the Healthy Hornets, also known as the Active Hornets, to form a night of lively entertainment along with spreading awareness of drunk driving.  Live with the Hive was hosted by Tyleia Sharps and Juice along with DJ Breaz.  Throughout the night were three shows, free giveaways, a cypher, a limitless performance, and six alumni rapping with the audience choosing the winner.  The three shows included the Managers Show where the WDSU Radio Station’s managers were talking about the station and spring fling.  The second show was “Living the Dream” with Eddi and Karen spreading awareness of the Dreamers on-campus along with teaching the audience some Spanish.  Lastly, was the radio show Unscripted, who discussed different questions betweenthe genders with the audience.  Although while the Hive was going crazy, the Active Hornets had games, food, and stories around the MLK about college students along with a display between a wrecked car in between the MLK and Price Building during the week.  If you had not come, then check out next years where the nest will be live and active with even more excitement and entertainment.
