This month is national women month. So this month, we will be taking a look at women everywhere and celebrating what makes each and every one of them so great!! So, now we are going to take a look back at some of the great women of the 20th century and celebrate all the great things they accomplished.
Clare Boothe Luce 1903
She was an ambassador to Italy, and managing editor of Vanity Fair.
Margaret Bourke-White 1904
A very successful, international photographer who captured events in relation to war and peace. She even captured a photo of Ghandi.
Grace Hopper 1904
Hopper was an early computer programmer, one of the first in her field. She also was a lead in concpets in software development.
Barbara Tuchman 1906
Two Time winner of the Pultizer Prize
Helen Gurley Brown 1922
A feminist, who wrote Sex and the Single Girl about the positive side of being a single girl. She also was able to revive Cosmopolitan.
Alice Coachman 1923
Alice was the first and only black women in the Olympics to win a gold medal in the London 1948 games.
Carolyn Shoemaker 1929
Carolyn discovered the most comets in history… thirty two!!
Ruth Bader Ginsberg 1933
Ruth is the only women of judisam within the supreme court justice system.
