Last Sunday night was definitely a night to remember. Many celebs from Beyonce to Sam Smith, made their way to the Staples Center in Los Angeles for the 57th Annual Grammy Awards. Before we go into the night’s best dressed, for those who get confused about which award show is which, here is a very short explanation of what the Grammys are all about:

“All about that” Grammy:

The Grammys are an award show put on by The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences to recognize the achievements of artists and musicians in the music industry.

Now that you got the basic gist of what the Grammy Awards are, you are probably wondering, well…. who decides who wins what?

Voting Process:

So it works like this: Recording Academy members and record companies submit music and music videos that they think are good enough to win a Grammy. The music and music videos are then nominated by the voting members, where some nominations make the final round of voting and others do not. The music and music videos are then voted on by members of the academy and no one finds out who wins until the award show.

Now that you know what the Grammys are all about here are some of the Best Dressed celebs of the night:

Taylor Swift:

“Haters gonna hate” but we am far from hating on this “mermaid-chic” turquoise ombre high-low dress by Ellie Saab. It’s different yet very elegant, and let’s be honest, it “will never go out of style.”

Gwen Stefani:

So Chic! Gwen looks simple, elegant, and edgy in this semi-sheer bodice black jumpsuit by Versace.

Iggy Azalea:

Iggy wore a custom made Armani silk crepe dress in an electric blue hue. We love the dress, but we think it would have looked better without the extra flesh colored cut out on the bottom. Other than that this shade of blue looks stunning on her!

Anna Kendrick:

Anna Kendrick rocked a simple, edgy black Band of Outsiders blazer and pants.

John Legend:

Simplicity is at times the best. John wore a simple Dolce and Gabbanna grey suit.

Donald Glover:

Wearing a luxurious Lanvin tux with awesome shoes!

Sam Smith:

Never seen someone wear a maroon suit, but we think it’s different, unique, and he works it!
