Around the country in preparation of Fall recruitment, sororities have created a trend of promoting their organization to new members through Tumblr. Tumblr is a website where you can create your own blog and the nations sororities have been using it to market themselves to potential new members. It is a great way for PNMs to look at the sororities at their school before recruitment begins and showing them lots of positives about each group of women and how much fun they have!
Greek life is a great way to get involved and has a large presence on campus. You do not have to be a freshman to go through recruitment! Clemson has formal recruitment in the fall and it begins the first week of classes. Even if you are on the fence about joining a sorority I highly recommend going through recruitment. It is a great way to meet people who live around you on campus through your Pi Chi groups or your future sisters if you decide to join one of our 12 organizations. Even though these organizations are considered social groups they are involved in doing a lot of community service and have higher average GPAs than non-affiliated students. Registration is currently open so register because your future sisters can’t wait to meet you!
