Best & Worst Parts of the End of Freshman Year

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Chapman chapter.

As the end of the semester approaches some freshman are thrilled to finally be done with the year. However, others are upset over the fact that the year will be ending soon! There are many ups & downs when it comes to freshman year and here they are in a nutshell:

The Best:

  • Finally being done with the awkward stage of college where you don’t know where anything is or how it works!

The Worst:

  • Not being able to blame your freshman status when you don’t know where something is or how it works.

The Best:

  • Being able to go home and tell everyone you survived all of the tests, responsibilities, and drama that came along with your freshman year.

The Worst:

  • Feeling like your life might actually be starting and what you thought were responsibilities were just people trying to prepare you for the future.

The Best:

  • Not having to deal with other obnoxious freshman on the weekends when they are yelling up and down the halls of the dorms.

The Worst:

  • Not being able to be one of the obnoxious freshman that yells up and down the dorms and no one thinks it’s THAT socially inappropriate!

The Best:

  • No longer having to go to parties where you don’t know anyone and they look down on you simply because you’re a freshman.

The Worst:

  • Not being able to go to parties where no one cares what you do so you can basically get away with anything.
