Cal Poly collegiettes, can you believe we’re taking midterms AGAIN?!? Why does it feel weirdly familiar to buy blue books and eat Subway in the lib at 2 AM while you cram? Hmm maybe because we were just taking finals six short weeks ago. (Is the quarters system evil or awesome… we’ll let you be the judge.)
To stay sane—or at least, sane-ish—we’re taking full advantage of the Survival Kit we just got from Her Campus Nationals and our lovely sponsors. Check out how we’re celebrating ourselves (in between frantically making flashcards, of course.)
1. Chipotle
There is nothing, we repeat, nothing, a good burrito can’t solve. Add some chips and guac on the side, and for 20 or so minutes you’ve completely forgotten how much your brain hurts.
2. boohoo Clothes
It’s a proven fact your test-taking skills improve when you look amazing. Okay, that fact isn’t proven, per se, but we’re sure some study will be released corroborating that theory soon. Meanwhile, we’re reading the #WeAreUSA boohoo magazine and using that sartorial inspiration to pick out some great outfits.
3. Crunch Live Classes
The Rec is so far away… And we’re tireddd… So when we want to get a quick work-out in, we’re taking full advantage of our Crunch Live 30-day trial and accessing their super fun workouts. Cardio, strength training, yoga, pilates and more—we can feel the endorphins already.
(And you know what Elle Woods says about endorphins.)
4. Blink Tattoos
We’re pretending we’re already partying it up at summer events with these Blink tattoos. They’re temporary, so if we need to scrub ‘em off before that career fair, we’re golden.
5. Chloe + Isabel Jewelry
Chloe + Isabel is helping us get some invaluable work experience (and um, unbelievable perks) with its GEM Merchandiser program. Free and discounted jewelry, 25-40% commission and lots of training? Sign us up.
6. Nicole Lapin Financial Advice
After all this shopping, we’re getting emails from Mint telling us we’ve had some “unusual spending.” Oops. That’s when we turn to Lapin’s highly readable, super helpful fianancial advie book: RICH BITCH: A Simple 12-Step Plan for Getting Your Financial Life Together… Finally.
