13. Basically, the sunset is breathtaking anywhere in SLO
14. But if you like sunrises, they are incredible at the top of any mountain
15. Such as Bishop’s Peak, Madonna or the P
16. Which overlook all of San Luis Obispo
17. Hiking up there also makes for a great workout
18. Or you can stay active in the beautiful Cal Poly Recreation Center
19. It helps work off that delicious Taco Bell you had at 2:00 AM
20. The Yik-Yak game here is on point

22. We have a real-life mustang as our mascot
23. Which is just one of the many animals you may see around campus
24. Along with gangs of wandering turkeys
25. There is a farmers market every Thursday night
26. And all of the food is grown locally here in SLO
27. Cal Poly even makes its own chocolate and wine
28. Which is possible because we’re settled right here in the middle of wine country
29. So once you turn 21, downtown is the place to be
30. It’s also a great place to study during the day
31. There are countless numbers of cute, little coffee shops in SLO
32. And there is FREE transportation from campus to get you there
33. Green and gold look pretty cool together
34. SloDoCo. Enough said.
35. There are a ton of great resources here for academic support
36. And a floor in the library to fit everyone’s studying needs
37. Which is why Cal Poly is home to some of the smartest students
38. Plus, the tuition price is pretty hard to beat
39. “Learn by doing” is the only way to do it
40. Especially while line dancing every Thursday and Saturday night
41. We have a whole alley downtown filled with bubblegum
42. And a graveyard of awesome-looking architecture projects on campus
43. Watching our soccer team dominate is always a good time
44. Zac Efron was born in SLO

47. Plus a Forever 21 the size of a small city
