So Aaron, What exactly is PAC?

PAC stands for Peer Academic Coaches. I work one on one with individuals who are professionally accepted into the college or are in the STEP program. During our one hour meetings a week we work on study skills and time management.

 

What are the requirements to become a PAC leader?

Great time management, a recommendation from a professor, and a 3.0 GPA

 

Are you involved in any other clubs or organizations at College of Charleston?

No, most of my time is donated to being a PAC leader and Career Coach.

 

What inspired you to get involved with the REACH Program?

I have a cousin with a disability so it has always been close to home. When I got the chance to join the program it was an offer I couldn’t turn it down. It was one of the best decisions that I have ever made.

 

What are your top five favorite moments since you’ve been at College of Charleston?

1.Becoming a Career Coach

Originally from North Carolina, Mary is a sophomore at the College of Charleston. Mary is a Women and Gender studies major and is very passionate about women's issues and politics. In her free time she likes to read, watch Netflix, write and hang out with friends.  When she graduates she hopes to work for a non-profit in Washington, DC and also write for a Magazine.

Originally from West Virginia, Tori Williams is a senior at the College of Charleston in South Carolina majoring in Communication, and minoring in International Studies and Dance. Tori is currently the editor-in-chief and a featured writer for the Her Campus CofC chapter, as well as an editorial intern with Charleston Magazine. She also dances with Dance FX Charleston's performance company and through the College of Charleston. When she's not busy, Tori loves to read, run, and do hot yoga. She hopes to someday be an editor and writer for a big time magazine.
