If You Could Have Any Superpower What Would it Be?: To Control Time

HC Buff State: Who is you biggest inspiration?

Marlin: My mother because she seems unbreakable. She seems like she could do anything and still seem unphased.

HC Buff State: What are some things you’ve done or organizations you’ve been a part of and what have you learned from them?

Marlin: Sigma Lambda Upsilon, and I’ve learned that sometimes it’s more satisfying to help others than yourself. Also, that true sisterhood starts with finding pieces of yourself in someone else and I’m a lot stronger than what I think I am.

HC Buff State: Why did you come to buff state?

Marlin: I came to Buff State to grow.

HC Buff State: What have been some of your best and worst experiences while attending buff state?

Marlin: The best has definitely been meeting the people I hang out with and moving off campus. The worst has to be the food, it’s horrible.

HC Buff State: What do you hope to do when you graduate?

Marlin: I want to become a high school english teacher and someday become a college professor. I want to change the world and inspire inner city youth.

HC Buff State: What advice do you have for females here at buff state?

Marlin: Start taking risk. Put yourself out there because there is no growing unless you step out of your boundaries, emotionally, mentally, or physically.
