Meet one of the members of The Boston Snow Dogs!
The Boston Snow Dogs is a cooperative-style group of pet owners that mush their huskies around the Boston area.
Last Saturday, November 8th, the Pre-Vet and Animal Lovers Society (P.A.L.S.) of Boston University hosted one of its most popular events – Snow Dogs!
P.A.L.S and the Snow Dogs came to together at the BU Beach and onlookers had the opportunity to meet the huskies and their owners and learn all about mushing and much more! The event was a great turn out with a number of students, faculty, and anyone that wanted to check out the cuddly canines! The owners were as friendly as their furry, blue-eyed companions!
The owners demonstrated some urban mushing, where the huskies pulled the instructor on a bicycle rather than on a traditional sled.
This was such a fantastic event for all the dog lovers out there!
