Behold: The Charles River! If you squint hard enough, you may see super, clear water, but the river is, in fact, ICEY. It’s so sad not seeing sailboats, kayaks, or rowers gliding up and down The Charles every day. To think that the Head of The Charles Regatta took place only a few months ago is mind-boggling. However, Bostonians have discovered interesting ways to overlook the frozen liquid. PEOPLE HAVE WALKED ON ICE. It’s a miracle much like the snowfall record. Words of advice: If you want to break the ice on a first date, don’t do it in a literal sense. Even though it may be a bold move, save the adventure for Frog Pond or Open Skate at Agganis or Walter Brown. Stay safe, BU. We will soon see a spring day.
