Winterizing Your Summer Wardrobe

Warm summer days are far behind us, and we’ve already had the first snow of the season, but that doesn’t mean that you have to put away all of your favorite summer pieces.  In fact, with careful layering and styling, you can get away with wearing your favorite summer dresses or cardigans for many more weeks.  The key is to adequately mix and match your favorite summer pieces with warmer fall and winter staples.

Wooly, winter sweaters can be layered perfectly with your favorite floral dresses, skirts, or summer jeans: 

Pull on a pair of thick tights or leggings to keep your stems warm under a skirt, dress, or cutoffs:
