This coming Sunday is one of the best days of Football in the entire season. Even if you are not a football fan we know you will be watching the game. Let’s be honest, half the time the commercials and the halftime show are the best part! A shout out to Katy Perry who is almost guaranteed to put on quite the show this year! We can’t forget the amazingness that was Beyonce’s performace!
If you are a football fan it is hard to resist watching the game and rooting for a team. This year’s matchup should be a great one as New England takes on Seattle for the title! With the big game just a few days away, here are some tips if you are planning to throw a party for you and your friends!
Find the sales: I guarantee grocery stores and liquor stores will have deals for game day. Stock up early because that morning you have no chance of a quick in-and-out trip. Regular season Sunday mornings are already a zoo in New England. Imagine what it will be like with the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
Get the right snacks and food: some classics are wings and chili. There is also the classic chip and dip! Check out allrecipes.com for a ton of great Super Bowl options!
Get comfortable: make sure you have enough seating and a great viewing site. Obviously big screens TVs are better but us college students have to work with what we own. Enhance the experience with some extra speakers or lay out the seating so everyone has a good vantage point of the screen!
Know your stuff: football has a lot of lingo and different rules. Girls, if your friends or significant other insist on watching the game and you want to keep them company check out Niki’s list on some lingo so you have a sense of what is going on. Boys, if you get asked clarifying questions, answer them. It might even make your significant other or friends interested in football!
