The Provisions on Demand (P.O.D.) Market, or C-Store, in Usdan is going to have a duplicate very soon, with the newest version scheduled to open in Village residences by late February.
The C-Store location is often the go-to spot for vegetarians and vegans and those who simply dislike the cafeteria-style food served in Upper and Lower Usdan. When the store is well stocked, junk food options are endless, although eating healthy is easy too. The new Village P.O.D. will house similar inventory to that of its predecessor, though the space will be smaller. Hours will be 7 to 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to midnight Monday through Friday. Saturdays the store will be closed, and on Sunday it will reopen from 4 p.m. to midnight.
Students often complain about the lack of dining options and locations on the Brandeis campus. The Village P.O.D. might be a nice addition.
