Spring is here! That means that every fashion-concious Brandeisian will start to break out their florals!

Wearing florals during spring is a little bit clichéd, but finding new and interesting ways to incorporate florals into your outfit adds a fun twist to this time-honored springtime tradition. Here are some ideas for unique wears to wear florals.

1. Floral Pants

This is an edgier take on the classic floral skirt. Pair tight floral pants with a loose-fitting t-shirt and some boots and you’re good to go.

2. Floral Rain Boots

Take on April Showers in style with some floral rain boots. These would look great with literally anything, so long as you don’t incorporate too many other patterns into the outfit.

3. Flower Crowns

Channel your inner Lana Del Rey with a flower crown! Lots of clothing and accessory stores sell pre-made flower crowns with fake flowers that don’t fall apart. Flower crowns have a relaxed vibe, so they look best with a sundress or flowy skirt. You can also curl or add small braids to your hair to add to your flower crown ‘do.

4. Floral Wedges

This is a slightly more formal option. Pair with a plain sundress for a flirty outfit that would work great for daytime semi-formal events like a nice brunch or a graduation. With leggings, the floral wedges take on a sexier vibe.

5. Floral Shrug

A floral shrug or jacket can make a boring outfit much more interesting. Wear one with an otherwise plain, casual outfit to add oomph.

6. Floral Sunglasses

7. Floral Bralette

The weather is finally warm enough to wear a bralette. These look awesome with high-waisted shorts and a trendy jacket. For a fancier look, try pairing a bralette with a pencil skirt and blazer.
