These Boots Are Made For Walkin’

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Binghamton chapter.

It’s that time again in the school year where fall has officially set in and moving into winter-like temperatures and now summer is now just a distant memory. Us girls long for the days to wear shorts and tanks and be carefree, however style is just around the corner and ready to fill all our wardrobes for this long chilly season. So store away those flip flops of every color and replace those with a few pairs of boots that’ll make any outfit go from zero to hero!

1Biker: This type of boot is great if you want to make your outfit have a little more edge. They are great in the fall for the days that it’s a little chilly, but the sun is out shining. Pair the boots with acid wash or black jeans and then top the outfit off with a leather jacket and now you have perfected the biker/ rocker look!

2Equestrian: These boots are an essential for every girls shoe wardrobe. They are so versatile in which you can wear them casually to class or a night out! Whether they are black or brown, these are perfect to pair with jeans or leggings.

3Over the knee: This type of boot is probably the most dramatic of all the kinds of boots. They are great because they make you look super slender and elongate your legs! Plus they’ll keep your legs warm! Personally, I cannot pull off the over the knee because of my petite height, however for those girls who have skyscraper length legs these are made for you! Pair these with a short skirt to show some leg or with skinny jeans and you’ve created a fabulous winter look!

4Booties: I highly recommend that every girl have some version of this type of boot. Booties are great because you can wear them with a casual outfit, but you can also dress the outfit up with them. These are especially good for those cold winter nights and you want to wear a heel out. You can still pull of the high-heeled look while keeping your feet warm at the same time.
