NOVEMBER EVENT: Binghamton Healthy Campus Summit

The Binghamton University’s campus strives to provide its students with healthy food choices as well as promote healthy lifestyles.

On Wednesday, November 1st from 9:00AM to 4:00PM, the 2nd Annual Healthy Campus Summit will be taking place throughout campus. There will be numerous events happening around campus stressing the importance of healthy living. Some of the sessions include “Cooking with Butternut Squash…Seasonal, Healthy and Tasty” where you will learn how to cook delicious Butternut Squash. Another session that seems really cool is called “Walking Meditation”.

The keynote speaker of this event is Dan Lerner. Lerner is a well-known professor at NYU who teaches a course “The Science of Happiness”. He has abundant knowledge in positive psychology and will be speaking about how to thrive in college and beyond.

Elana is a Junior at Binghamton University. She is majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Consulting. She is originally from New Jersey.
