Reasons I Love Adam Levine

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BC chapter.

In 2002, Maroon 5 released their first album, Songs about Jane.  A year later, the movie Something’s Gotta Give featured Maroon 5’s song “Sunday Morning.”  My parents, being obsessed with the movie and the soundtrack, played this CD constantly, so I grew accustomed to listening to Adam’s beautiful voice filling our house at all hours of the day.  Over the years, my love for Maroon 5 increased, as they released It Won’t Be Soon Before Long, Hands All Over, and, most recently, Overexposed.   It wasn’t until I started watching The Voice, however, that I realized just how perfect Adam Levine is.  Yes, I know he’s sworn off marriage, but I know it’s just because he hasn’t met me yet.  If you’re wondering why I love him so much, don’t worry, I made a list of my top eight reasons!

1.  He has the most beautiful voice.  Ever.  Need proof?  Here you go:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?…

2.  He can rock a white t-shirt like no one else.  You would think it would get old, but no.  I’m also not opposed to when he wears sweaters.

3.  He and Blake Shelton are friends.  And their bromance is the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen.  If you missed the article from last spring in People that talked about their friendship, I highly recommend reading it.

4.  He always looks like he’s having so much fun on The Voice.  While I was skeptical in the beginning of the season about Usher joining the show, I think he’s been a wonderful (and wonderfully adorable) addition.  I mean, just look at them!

5.  Did I mention that he’s absolutely beautiful?  Even though he’s covered in tattoos, he can pull them off.  As shown in this picture:

6.  He’s incredibly talented.  He sings like an angel, plays guitar, piano, and drums, and he writes a lot of their music.  Personally, I wouldn’t say no to him writing me a song and serenading me as he plays guitar.

7.  That one time he wore a bowtie on the show.  All I have to say.

8. Little known fact: before being the lead singer of Maroon 5, he and three friends formed a band called Kara’s Flowers.  They were discovered when he was only 17, but the band broke up after their only album, The Fourth World, was unsuccessful.
