Fall might just be our favorite season here at BC. We start a brand new semester filled with the excitement of taking new classes, the new football season, new housing, new roommates and new activities. At BC, we love fall. We love football season, and we definitely love tailgating. As the weather starts to get even cooler, jackets become a necessity at our football games and tailgates. When the weather changes and we are in need of a jacket, scarf or hat, where do we turn? Enter Barbour.

My favorite tailgating look this fall has been my classic Barbour jacket. Throw on a BC t-shirt, jeans, and boots and you’re set! I like to feel like I’m put-together even at a tailgating event. I don’t like feeling too over-dressed, but I also don’t like feeling too under-dressed. My Barbour jacket is the perfect way to complete my tailgating outfit.

The jackets and accessories are durable and practical… not to mention they go with everything! I received my first Barbour flannel a few weeks ago. It’s so comfortable and cute. I’ve been layering it for the different types of weather we’ve been experiencing. Wear it without a jacket in warmer weather, and wear it under a jacket in cooler weather. You can dress it up by wearing it over a sweater dress, or you can dress it down by wearing it with yoga pants and sneakers. Too often I buy things that don’t fit into my everyday life, they usuallyend up in the back of my closet and rarely get worn. At school we have limited closet space and we can’t fill it up with things we never wear. My Barbour flannel has turned into a staple in my fall wardrobe… and it will definitely be a part of my winter wardrobe as well!
