6 Style Instagrams You Should Be Following

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Columbia Barnard chapter.
From the trendiest street stylists to the best #ootd’s, these are the six Instagram feeds that you fashionistas need to check out:

1. SOMETHINGNAVY

NYC based fashionista Arielle Nachmani creates outfits that blend comfort and and sophistication.  This mama-to-be always appears exceptionally chic and put together.

2. ALEALIMAY

Nobody does street style better than Aleali May. She’s worked with famous artists Kendrick Lamar, Wiz Khalifa, and French Montana, and has also collaborated with sportswear brands such as Nike and Adidas.  To sum up her style, she proudly states, “When it comes to Louboutins, most women purchase heels as their first pair, but I got the sneakers instead.”

3. BITTERSWEETCOLOURS

With full floral skirts made for afternoon tea with the girls, Veronica Popoiacu’s bright and vibrant Instagram feed will make you wish it was springtime, all the time. Jewel-tones and florals in the winter time – yes, it can work!

4. UPCLOSEANDSTYLISH

Major shoe envy alert! Malin Bergfors’ extensive collection of Louboutins are absolutely drool-worthy, and although she rarely (if ever) shows her face in pictures, her outfits are always gorgeous (and often adorned with a beautiful Kelly).

5. CHRONICLESOFHER_

Blogger Carmen Hamilton is known for her beach-tousled bob and Celine sunnies. Her outfits are always sleek and sophisticated, and she also finds time to casually write for Vogue Australia on the side. Her personal style in one word? #fixuplooksharp.

6. HOOTMAG

Hoot is Barnard/Columbia’s only student-run publication dedicated exclusively to fashion.  Its Instagram feed is the best way to keep up with the CU style scene and get a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the magazine, which is published in print once per semester.
