Tell us a little about yourself:
I’m Morgan Abraham. I’m a 21 year old from Scottsdale, AZ. I’m a junior majoring
in engineering management. I would like to use this to possibly get a career in
commercial real estate. I am also interested in politics. That is why I am the current
president of my fraternity chapter, Alpha Epsilon Pi, and just was elected ASUA senator. For fun, I like to
play hockey with my intramural team and go out with my friends.
What is your favorite memory in Alpha Epsilon PI?
It was definitely our Vegas formal last year. The hotel upgraded my date and I to a
penthouse suite and I had the best time.
What as the toughest part of being president of Alpha Epsilon Pi?
I would say the hardest part is balancing between being an authority figure and
being friends with my fraternity brothers.
How do you balance all the leadership roles you have?
Its not as hard as it looks. I still try to go out at least two days sometime between
Thursday and Saturday. Right now its bad because being president is never ending.
There is always some idiot doing something I have to deal with.
As soon as I’m done being president it’ll be better. Being a Senator my commitments
are about 15-20 a week, so it’s not too bad. One of my biggest plans as senator is
taking away parking prices for the gym.
How did you get into the position of ASUA Senator?
One of the senators didn’t come back from last year. I actually heard it through the
grapevine and I have always liked being in leadership positions. I just feel like I can
do things better than others.
Tell us what you think about this year’s election/Who are you voting for?
I would consider myself an Independent. I am not positive who I am voting for, but I
am definitely leaning towards Obama.
If you were president of the United States, what would you do?
I am a very economic thinker. The first thing I think we need to do is get out of debt.
I would cut spending and get us out of deficit, even add taxes if necessary.
What is your ideal girl?
I’m attracted to smart and independent girls that don’t need to lean on a guy. I like
when they are very successful at what they do. I just like independent people.
Tell us what your ideal first date is?
I’m bad at this. I always spoil girls. It’s never good for the bank account. Movies
are always good, but boring so I like to think outside the box. I like taking them to
Centennial hall to watch musicals. I love musicals. I even took my date in Vegas to
Cirque De Soleil.
Who’s your celebrity crush?
I used to love Hayden Panetierre and Jessica Simpson, but now I’m obsessed with
Rachel McAdams.
What was your best Halloween costume?
I was Dorothy one year. I wore a wig and little checkered dress and a toto dog in my
purse. I did the red shoes but I didn’t pull off the heels, just sneakers.
