Tough times are inevitable. Unfortunately, they are a part of life.  Often times, we see the ones we love the most go through the hardest times.  As bystanders, it’s sometimes difficult to know how to express our love and support not only to the person going through the hardship, but also to the family and friends of that person dealing with this hard time as well. You don’t want to say the wrong thing. You want to let that person know that they are not alone. You want to tell that person to have hope and be brave.  Although words of encouragement are a great way to express your support, they seem to get lost in translation because they are coming from everyone.  So how do you show your support, love, and every other encouraging emotion in just one way?

Stephanie Hansen, 26, has found just the way. After her mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in June of 2012, Stephanie was determined to come up with a way to encourage her mom to be brave, and to show her that she was not alone on her road to recovery. Thus resulted in the creation of Bravelets™. Bravelets™ products include bracelets, rings, and necklaces. These accessories serve as more than just fashion statements, however. They serve as symbols of bravery and hope.  They are a daily reminder that no one is alone in whatever battle they are going through. Because the triangle is the strongest geometric shape, it is integrated in every Bravelet design as a visual representation of strength.

Each Bravelet product is uniquely designed for a specific cause. When you visit the Bravelets™ website, you will notice a list of over one hundred different causes you can choose from. These causes are not limited to illnesses, either.  A mother whose son is in Afghanistan can buy a Bravelet bracelet to show her support for our troops. A teacher can buy her student a Bravelet ring to encourage bravery against bullying. The possibilities are endless. Bravelets ™ products are $25, $35, or $42, depending on which accessory you buy. Ten dollars of each sale goes toward the associated cause. After two years of business, this for-profit organization has raised over $386,480 in total.

Visit the Bravelets™ website at www.bravelets.com and check out all of the products available for each cause.  Don’t see the cause you’re looking for? Not a problem. The website gives you the opportunity to start up your own Brave Page, a custom page that is uniquely designed for your cause. You are able to sell Bravelets ™ products for your chosen cause, and the same amount of money gets donated to the appropriate charity.

Bravelets™ has not only raised thousands of dollars for hundreds of charities, but it has also given thousands of people hope and support through whatever they may be going through. This simple gift can help someone in more ways than you know.
