Marley Taylor ’17

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at American chapter.

Name: Marley Taylor

Major: International Relations

Hometown: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Relationship status: Single (but I’m feeling pretty good about me and Netflix right now– it might turn into a long-term thing)

What you look for in a partner: Someone who’s humorous, adventurous and a little romantic (but not mushy). Most importantly, I want to be with someone that will see me as an equal. I never let anyone tell me what to do or who to be.

Favorite movie: “Easy A”

Guilty pleasure: Watching really terrible movies on Netflix

Something people don’t know about you: Every time I’m listening to a catchy song in public, I have to stop myself from unleashing my terrible dance moves.

Perfect date: Any date? I’d like to take a walk around the monuments at night. I don’t think dates have to be expensive or fancy. Plus the monuments are a romantic backdrop when they’re lit up.

Dream job: I’d love to be the American Ambassador to Japan

Favorite ice cream flavor: All ice cream is good ice cream. Cookie dough is pretty great though.
