You may love pizza, but do you love it enough that you’d want to be proposed to with a 22-karat gold ring shaped like a pizza slice? That’s the question Domino’s UK asked on Monday, when they posted a giveaway of a pizza-shaped, diamond-encrusted engagement ring on their Facebook page. Unfortunately for us, the giveaway ended at 10 p.m. Monday night—but maybe we can use this as inspiration for our own custom engagement rings sometime far, far in the future?
Delish reports that Domino’s plans to make 475,000 pizzas for Valentine’s Day this year, and The Sun says almost three-fourths of couples are planning to stay in tonight to celebrate the holiday. Apparently 6 percent of men say they’re planning to propose today over food, so this Domino’s ring would go perfectly with a large pizza.
Valentine’s Day can get WAY overly sappy and saccharine, so thank god we have brands to add a little levity to this holiday.
