A Cat That Went Viral For Surfing On Top Of A Van At 60mph, Is Alive And Well According To His Owners

On Friday night, a family in Omaha, Nebraska was driving down the interstate when they noticed what appeared to be a raccoon clinging for it’s life on top of a minivan traveling just a few feet ahead of them.

The family captured this video:

They pulled closer and noticed that the raccoon was in fact a cat and immediately began to try and make the driver of the minivan aware of what was going on. Because yikes.

The driver pulled over and was out of sight before the family could learn the fate of the feline. Fortunately, with the help of social media and the local news station, KETV 7, the driver of the minivan was identified and it was learned that the cat belonged to the driver.

Rebel, the fierce kitty daredevil, is reportedly home and healthy after her vehicular adventure. And we’re sure his owner will check the roof of her car before ever leaving her driveway again.
