Longines Women Who Make A Difference Award Contest is Seeking Nominations

Collegiettes, we know all of you anything but ordinary. But do you know any women out there who have proven themselves to be extraordinary?

Town & Country and Longines have teamed up again to host their fifth annual Longines Women Who Make A Difference Award Contest. The award honors women who have made a serious impact on the lives of children through a charitable organization. The winner of the award this year will be presented with a private dinner hosted by tennis legend Stefanie Graf (who launched the nonprofit foundation Children for Tomorrow) in New York City this November, and the charitable organization through which the winner was nominated will be featured in front of a VIP audience. As if that’s not enough, the lucky winner will also receive a Longines watch and be featured in an upcoming issue of Town & Country.

Know any exceptional women who you think should enter (or have you made a significant impact in the lives of children)? The Longines Women Who Make A Difference contest is currently accepting submissions! To enter, all you have to do is explain (in a 200-word essay or a video that is three minutes maximum in length) why you are or your nominee is a woman who makes a difference and who has made an impact on children’s lives through a charitable organization.

Your entry must also include the nominee’s name, age, state in which she currently resides, and all pertinent contact information, such as telephone number, email address, and street address. If you are nominating someone else, be sure to include your own contact information as well as your relationship to the nominee. Nominations can be emailed to longinesrealwomen@hearst.com and must be received by June 26th, 2013.

Good luck, collegiettes! Help get those exceptional women in your lives the recognition they deserve.
