In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past few months, you’ve probably heard about the enormously popular Broadway musical, Hamilton. It’s a hip-hop musical that offers a unique take on the story of Alexander Hamilton, the first Secretary of Treasury of the U.S.
The cast of the show recently took a special trip down to the Capitol where they got to get a little up close and personal with the president and the First Lady. So it was only right for the writer of the Broadway hit, Lin-Manuel Miranda, to challenge President Obama in a freestyle rap battle.

Which brings us to the conclusion that President Obama should officially be invited to be a member of the cast. Here’s why.
1. He already knows a good bit about American history.
2. He can keep a beat.
3. And so can Michelle.
4. Which makes it so easy to believe that he has enough natural swag to spit some fire in a hip-hop musical.
5. Sasha and Malia can make a cameo that will literally slay our entire existence.
