It may just be time for us to start thinking of a cute nickname for Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez because it looks like there’s a musical collaboration in the works between the two of them.
One of the only things that comes to mind when thinking of a Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez collaboration is “How has this not already happened?!” Luckily, E! News ran into Gomez while she was supporting her upcoming film, The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving, at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival and casually asked if she and Swift would ever make a song together.
“Oh, I don’t know. I mean, eventually, right?” she responded. “She’s my best friend. We’ll see.”
Okay, so she didn’t exactly say yes. But she didn’t say no either. We’ve already seen Selena make an appearance as partner-in-crime-turned-enemy, Arsyn, in Swift’s star-studded “Bad Blood” music video and, if that 30-second teaser was any indication of what’s to come between the two of them, then we have a lot to be excited about.
