Since the world descended into total chaos this week, the best thing would probably be to hide in bed all day with junk food and a Gilmore Girls marathon. Honestly, nothing can heal hearts like Luke… or food. As if you weren’t already hyperventilating about Year in the Life, the GG goddesses are really blessing us this holiday season, because now you can eat your very own Gilmore Girls ice cream. Say what?! Yeah. We’ll all be snack queens just like Lorelai and Rory soon enough.
Ample Hills, a creamery in Brooklyn, has created “They Scoop Gilmores, Don’t They?” which is of course a word play on your fave episode “They Shoot Gilmores, Don’t They?” On top of the name and packaging being literal perfection, the flavor is right on point. According to Ample Hills it’s “Coffee (of course) chocolate pudding ice cream (because Emily is trying it after all) but oy, with the snickerdoodles already—topped with pink [Pop Tart] sprinkles.” How they managed to fit so many flavor references in one tiny pint we don’t know, but we’re so excited.
