In a world where humor treads a fine line between edgy and offensive, a new mockumentary is threatening the extinction of entire gender. Originally premiering at the Toronto Film Festival, the film explores what the world would be like if men were an endangered species—and men are not very happy about it.
Since the trailer was posted on YouTube several days ago, commenters are expressing their immense concern for the idea of a less than testosterone-filled world. “lol… a society run by women.. ha ha!” one commenter expressed. “Is this Idiocracy 2.0?” another one asked. Other sexist gems include, “How are the woman going to open jars now,” “We all know a female only society would not make it past the stone age,” and “men are the ones getting treated like crap these days and i dont deserve it just cause of my gender.”
Maybe somebody needs to let these guys know the difference between a documentary and a mockumentary?
