Chrissy Teigen Tweeted a Video About Her ‘Period Skin’ Struggles, & It’s So Relatable

If you follow Chrissy Teigen on any of her social media platforms, you know how real her posts are. She could totally bring back “Don’t make me snap my fingers in a Z formation” and make it cool again. She’s on that level of fierceness, especially after her recent video about “period skin,” which she posted on Monday.

This isn’t the first time Chrissy has opened up about her body image on the internet. Not only has the model shared a photo of the stretch marks and bruises on her thighs, but she’s also revealed how her body changed after giving birth to her daughter, Luna.

Bruises from bumping kitchen drawer handles for a week. Stretchies say hi!

There are no touch-ups, no filters and no little white lies in any of Chrissy’s photos. She’s shown the internet what she looks like as she ages and goes through her monthly hormonal cycles.

After tweeting a video of her period skin breakouts, many women and men were quick to respond via Twitter, thanking Teigen and supporting her brave choice to share her imperfections in the public eye.

I hope Chrissy continues to share it all—her skin struggles, stretch marks and everything that makes her beautiful and human. She’s the real MVP!
