On Wednesday afternoon, Chrissy Teigen took to Instagram to reveal that she and husband John Legend’s dog, Puddy, had died.
Nothing is more heartbreaking than losing a pet, especially one as adorable as Puddy—but Teigen’s dedication to her pup, which she shared on Instagram, really showed just how much she and her family loved him.
“I always knew I would lose a piece of me when he left us. I feel the hole now. I will love you forever, my boy. My heart aches” Teigen wrote. But then she found a way to lighten the news with an adorable video of Puddy licking her 1-year old daughter Luna’s feet, and a photo of Puddy and his wife Pippa at their marriage ceremony.
Although Chrissy and John (and presumably Luna, as well) are heartbroken over the loss of their beloved dog, they have something else to look forward to—the arrival of their second child this June! According to ET Online, Teigen and Legend haven’t chosen a name for their baby boy yet, as they plan on holding off on the decision until after his birth.
